ANOTHER of my former clubs, Northampton Town, are definitely putting their fans through the proverbial wringer.
Promotion could have been secured last weekend but a home loss to Bradford means that, like last season, it goes down to the last game of the campaign.
Let’s hope it doesn’t bring back too many memories of that fateful day last year when Northampton won at Barrow, but were then denied promotion by Bristol Rovers, who smashed Scunthorpe 7-0 to move above them on goals scored.
