SHREWSBURY Town midfielder Bryn Morris is set for a six-week spell in the physio room after the club confirmed he picked up a knee injury.
Morris, 21, suffered the injury in a pre-season fixture against Telford, and has been managing it ever since in a bid to return.
But after a scan this week, manager Paul Hurst confirmed that he will be going under the surgeon’s knife to solve the problem.
“Bryn’s struggling”, said Hurst. “He’s going to require an operation, so that’s not good news for us.
