Mansfield sign Colin Daniel on loan

Mansfield have brought in winger Colin Daniel on loan from Port Vale until the end of the season.

Daniel has had a previous spell with the Stags where he played a key role in helping the club to promotion to the Football League in 2013.

Daniel told Mansfield’s official club website, ”It’s good to see some old faces and some new ones also. Everyone has welcomed me back with open arms and I’m really pleased to be back. There seems to be a real buzz around the place

“I played with the manager (Adam Murray) during my last spell here. He’s a good guy and I know he wants to do well. I want to do well for him and the team.”

The 28-year-old joined Port Vale in the summer of 2014 and has made 25 appearances for the club this season.
Mansfield are currently sitting in 6th place in League Two. They face a potentially tricky trip to Newport County on Saturday.
