Coventry bring in Ramage

Coventry City have signed defender Peter Ramage on a contract until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old was without a club having played for Kerala Blasters in last year’s Indian Super League.

Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray told the club’s official website, “Peter has a wealth of experience. He’s a player who I see challenging for a spot in my starting XI week-in, week-out.”

“One of my main objectives was to add to our defensive options. We’ve been short in that area. especially over the Christmas period.”

Ramage has played for a host of clubs during his career including Newcastle, QPR, Birmingham and Crystal Palace.

Mowbray’s side are currently sitting in 4th place in League One and Coventry fans will be hoping that the acquisition of Ramage will help their push for promotion to the Championship.
