Billy Clarke signs new deal at Bradford

Billy Clarke has put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half year at Bradford City.

The 27 year-old’s previous contract was due to expire at the end of this season and he has expressed his delight at extending his stay at the Coral Window’s Stadium.

Clarke told the club’s official website, “I’ve loved every minute of my time at the club so far. There was never any thought of me wanting to move to somewhere else.

“My family are settled here – they love it here really – and the support I get from the fans is fantastic.

“It is great that this deal has coincided with me coming back from my injury. I am delighted to be back out on the training pitch.
The former Ipswich and Blackpool striker scored 14 goals in 46 appearances for the Bantams last season but has missed the last two months through injury.

He is however expected to return to Phil Parkinson’s side in time for Saturday’s League One game away at Millwall.
