Lundstram joins Iron on loan from Everton

Scunthorpe United have moved to sign Everton central midfielder John Lundstram on loan until 18th April.

The 21 year-old playmaker has enjoyed various loan spells across League 1 with Doncaster Rovers, Leyton Orient, and Yeovil Town, helping Doncaster win the league title in that frantic 1-0 wonder at Brentford two seasons ago.

He also took part in another League 1 spectacular in last season’s play-off final for Leyton Orient, suffering heartbreak this time in the push for promotion despite scoring his penalty in the Wembley shootout.

England youth-capped Lundstram is available for Saturday’s trip to Rochdale, and will wear the number 18 shirt during his time at Glanford Park.
