Working at The FLP: Online writer internship

Greenways Publishing, producer of The Non-League Football Paper and The Football League Paper are seeking a sports journalism degree graduate to join their online staff.

As the unofficial voice of the English domestic leagues below the Premier League, The Non-League Football Paper and The Football League Paper have championed the lower tiers for over a decade.

With the 2017-18 season almost upon us, we are looking for an individual with a clear eye for what makes a news story and how to structure writing one.

On sale every Sunday, the websites keep fans abreast of all matters across the country throughout the week ready for Saturday’s action to be covered in print.

Ideally, the applicant will be a graduate of a sports journalism degree course or will have finished at least two years’ study at a university institution.

Based in Wimbledon, south-west London, this position is a long-term internship running until the end of the season.

If you are a fan of football with aspirations to work in the media industry, contact adam.ellis@greenwayspublishing.com to apply for this internship position.
