This weekend’s Football League tips with MarathonBet

Spurs have scored at least once against Manchester City in seven of their last ten matches against the Citizens – and you can now back them to do the same again on Sunday at an enhanced 7/1 with Marathonbet.

Pochettino’s men are flying high in the Premier League after notching seven wins from nine since December 19. As for City, a hugely disappointing home defeat to Leicester last weekend leaves them six points off the top. Pellegrini’s side seem more than capable of dealing with lesser opposition this term but statistics show they’ve not fared well against their top-six rivals this campaign. They’ve taken just three points from seven games against Leicester, Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham and Spurs.

The 7/1 enhancement is for new customers. For information on signing up and full terms and conditions, hit the following link: http://thfc.marathonbet.co.uk/mancity?pref=mblog360x199

In the Championship Brighton are a huge shout to keep up the pressure on faltering leaders Middlesbrough if they can win at home to stragglers Bolton. The Seagulls are soaring high again after a concerning winless run but have taken maximum points from their last three league games. Bolton meanwhile have struggles on and off the pitch right now and are fighting for their Championship lives. They are however unbeaten in three and could be turning a corner.

Despite signs of a turnaround, Albion remain unbeaten at home against Bolton and boast the highest number of one-goal winning margins at home this season. Scorelines of 2-1 and 1-0 have been abundant, so consider backing Brighton to win by one goal at 63/25.

League One title-hopefuls Wigan are also on an unbeaten run stretching nine games. Like Brighton, they face a team threatened with the drop – Oldham – and boast an above-average goal scoring record in the league. Oldham haven’t scored in nearly five hours of football while Wigan have netted 21 times in their last nine games, averaging 2.33 goals per game. They look good value to win with a -1 handicap at 21/20.

And finally a battle of the League Two promotion hopefuls takes place in the south west as Plymouth host Mansfield. The visitors are unbeaten in four and remain just four points adrift of the automatic promotion spots while Plymouth are second, five points from the top. Both teams have scored in nearly 70% of Plymouth’s home games this season and we reckon there’s a good chance Mansfield will be keen to close the gap on the league leaders and play an open, attacking game. Both teams to score can be backed at a value 87/100 with Marathonbet.
