Sad Latics tale was so predictable
FOR those who have followed Oldham Athletic’s fortunes in recent times, it will probably not have come as a great surprise that they have been relegated from the Football League.
While the Latics had been on a gradual downward spiral, matters worsened following Moroccan football agent Abdallah Lemsagam’s takeover in January 2018.
If it was harsh to lay too much of the blame for Oldham’s relegation from League One at the end of that season at Lemsagam’s door, then he must take his fair share for what has happened since.
