Latics & Millers seal promotion

THE Champagne corks were popping yesterday as Wigan and Rotherham clinched promotion to the Championship.
The Latics triumphed 3-0 at Shrews-bury to seal the title, while Rotherham went up with them after a 2-0 success at Gillingham, who were relegated.
Scott Twine scored four as MK Dons hammered Plymouth 5-0, but they had to settle for the play-offs.
The Dons meet Wycombe in the semi-finals, while Sunderland face Sheffield Wednesday.
