LEE Johnson admits Sunderland are facing an injury crisis at full-back after Dennis Cirkin was ruled out until next year with a hernia issue.
The 19-year-old left-back, who joined from Tottenham in August, is set to undergo surgery which is likely to sideline him until January.
Black Cats boss Johnson, who is also without Denver Hume and Niall Huggins, said: “All three full-backs are out now until January.
“We can handle the number of injuries, but we tend to get them in the same unit.”
