BAGGIES SLIDE IN TO TOP SPOT

AFTER West Brom surged to the Championship summit, manager Darren Moore fired out an ominous warning to their rivals: “There’s more to come.”
With Leeds drawing at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night and Middlesbrough being held at Hull, the door was open for the Baggies to go top.
Goals from Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle plus a Ben Davies own-goal earned Moore’s men a 3-2 victory at basement side Preston.
