The Beast warming up to the challenge

ADEBAYO Akinfenwa helped himself to a double as Wycombe saw off Port Vale but manager Gareth Ainsworth warned that the Beast still has work to do get in top shape.
The away side dominated for 87 minutes at Vale Park until Port Vale pulled two goals back to give them hope.
However Akinfenwa’s double and one from Paris Cowan-Hall proved enough, although Ainsworth admitted his team were almost made to pay for missing some good chances.
