GINO BIDS TO SCARE DEFENCES

GINO van Kessel has vowed he will terrify League One defences this term having signed for Oxford United on a seasonlong loan from Slavia Prague.
The 24-year-old Curaçaoan can play on either flank or as a central striker, and joins with the option for a permanent transfer for £810,000.
When he joined Slavia Prague in 2016 for €1.2m, he was one of the most expensive players ever bought by a Czech team.
“I’m an attacking player – I’m fast so hopefully they will see it and hopefully I can scare some defenders around here,” he said.
