HEGELER HAPPY TO FILL IN AT THE BACK

JENS Hegeler has raised a few eyebrows by lining up in central defence for Bristol City this season but the 29-year-old says that supporters shouldn’t be surprised.
The German – who arrived at Ashton Gate from Hertha Berlin in January – came more widely known as a midfielder, but says that he is indeed comfortable plying his trade in Lee Johnson’s back line as he enjoys striding forward with the ball at his feet.
