Brad Jones leaves Bradford

Goalkeeper Brad Jones has left Bradford City by mutual consent.

The 33 year-old signed a one-year contract with the Bantams in the summer after leaving Liverpool but has decided to cut short his time with the club.

The Australian shot-stopper made his Bradford debut in the 2-2 draw against local rivals Sheffield United in September and has since made two further appearances for the club.

Bradford’s Chief Operating Officer James Mason told the club’s official website,  “We would like to place on record our thanks for Brad’s time and effort whilst at the club. We wish him and his family good luck for the future.”

Jones was born in Perth and has four caps for the Australian national team.
