THE pitch has been flooded – but the goals continue to flow at AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane.
The Dons made it five home wins out of five – the only club in the top 92 to have an unblemished home record – when they eased past ailing Morecambe 3-0 on Tuesday night.
It sent the bulk of the 6,751-strong crowd home happy and again suggests that this could be a season that the fan-owned club will eventually remember for all the right reasons.
