THERE’S that little bit of extra satisfaction for clubs – and fans – when players they’ve developed make an impact in the first team.
So you can understand why League One high-flyers Lincoln City were delighted when 20-year-olds Jovon Makama and Freddie Draper lined up in attack against Leyton Orient last weekend – and both got on the scoresheet in a 2-1 home win.
