Chesterfield boss Paul Cook was left disappointed with a point after a stoppage-time penalty award led to Notts County snatching a draw.
And it was a match for the old-timers as three veteran strikers found the net.
David McGoldrick, 36, followed up to score for Notts right at the death after his spot-kick was saved by Max Thompson after a controversial handball decision.
