Owls’ feet are on the floor – Vaulks

Sheffield Wednesday might have only seen their club record-breaking unbeaten run of 23 league games come to an end in midweek – but midfielder Will Vaulks has insisted nobody at Hillsborough ever thought promotion was anywhere near being wrapped up.
Tuesday night’s 4-2 defeat at Barnsley moved their fourth-placed South Yorkshire neighbours to within six points of the Owls and represented a first third-tier loss for Darren Moore’s men since October 4 when Plymouth ran out 2-1 winners.
