WEDNESDAY BOOST AS BANNAN IS BACK FIT…

SHEFFIELD Wednesday are set to welcome talisman Barry Bannan back from injury as the Owls bid to go 11 games unbeaten at Fleetwood on Boxing Day.
Bannan, who has four goals and six assists this season, pulled up during the draw with Exeter a fortnight ago and admitted he feared a lengthy absence.
However, scans revealed the damage was minimal and after missing last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Oxford, the 33-year-old is now fully fit.
