Grimsby Town midfielder Harry Clifton has confessed that getting last term’s top-scorer John McAtee back on the pitch will be a “massive boost” – but added that it’s everybody’s responsibility to keep chipping in with goals in the meantime.
A 1-0 midweek defeat at Barrow meant the Mariners had fired blanks in two consecutive contests and failed to score more than once in seven of their last nine league games.
