IF PRESTON boss Ryan Lowe wanted to make his team hard to break down, then he’s certainly going the right way about it.
Ahead of yesterday’s visit of Birmingham, the Lilywhites, remarkably, hadn’t conceded a leaguegoal in seven games. New keeper Freddie Woodman must be loving every minute of it.
Indeed, the only goal he’d conceded in eight matches this term was in a 4-1 win in the Carabao Cup at Huddersfield.
If Lowe can add that cutting edge to his team in the Championship, just imagine what they could achieve!
