Scot Bennett completed ten years as a League Two player last month but remains as hungry as ever to move up to a level that he last tasted at the age of 21.
Prior to this weekend, the Newport County midfielder had racked up 313 appearances over the past decade in the EFL’s basement division for the Exiles, York, Notts County and Exeter after being relegated with the latter in 2011-12.
