APPLETON RELIEVED BY PATINO RESULTS

BLACKPOOL bos Michael Appleton insists the injury to Arsenal hotshot Charlie Patino is not as bad as first feared.
The 18-year-old starlet, currently on loan with Appleton’s Blackpool, picked up an injury rolling his ankle during halftime of the away game at QPR on Tuesday.
Appleton initially warned that the injury looked serious, revealing Patino had severe swelling around the area and would be scanned in the week.
But a scan this week has revealed a far more positive prognosis with Patino only expected to be out of action for around a month or so.
