VALERIEN Ismael watched a two-hour video on the history of West Bromwich Albion before he took his first game.
His part in their history lasted eight months.
Steve Bruce then came out of retirement and watching cricket in Dubai to manage his first West Brom game.
Albion lost to Sheffield United in early February and have won only four times under Bruce.
