DESPITE an impressive 3-0 home win against high-flying Rotherham in midweek, Portsmouth won’t be exiting League One this season.
Next season will be a sixth consecutive campaign in the third tier for my old club. Pompey’s win at Crewe early last month was their sixth in seven games and raised hopes of a late dash for the play-offs.
But Portsmouth haven’t been able to keep that form going and six points from a possible 18 pre-weekend ensured they would be staying put.
