BELSHAW STAYS AT ROVERS

BIG IMPACT: Bristol Rovers goalkeeper James Belshaw

BRISTOL Rovers have received a boost with the news that goalkeeper James Belshaw has extended his contract.
The 31-year-old’s deal was due to expire at the end of next season, but terms have been finalised on a new contract that keeps him at the League Two side until June 2024.
“I’m delighted to have signed a new deal,” said Belshaw, who joined from Harrogate last summer. “I’m especially pleased to now be able to move my family down here in the summer.”
