CARLISLE United have staged a remarkable turnaround in form in League Two since appointing my former Wolves teammate Paul Simpson.
Simpson led the Cumbrians to backto-back promotions in 2004-05 and 2005-06.
When they decided to make a change and replace Keith Millen, he was an obvious choice to step in -and Carlisle have enjoyed that new manager bounce.
Heading into the weekend, the Cumbrians had collected 12 points from a possible 15 since the former winger took over -a fantastic return.
