SETBACK: Shrewsbury’s David Davis has been sidelined

SHREWSBURY Town have suffered a blow with the news that experienced midfielder David Davis has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old former Birmingham City man is set to have surgery tomorrow to repair ruptured ankle ligaments sustained in the 2-1 defeat to Portsmouth almost two weeks ago.
He joined the Shrews in January last year and signed a new one-year deal in July.
