DARREN MOORE’S SHEFF WED STEP UP THEIR BID TO BOUNCE BACK

DARREN Moore celebrated one year in charge of Sheffield Wednesday this week. For a while, even that modest milestone looked unlikely.
Having overseen a relegation for which he was largely blameless and a squad overhaul both financially essential and long overdue, the 47-year-old understandably struggled for fluency.
Results were erratic. The system in constant flux. Moore spoke of horses for courses, but the reality was that the Owls boss simply did not know his best XI, or how to line them up.
