Fingers crossed, the Cobblers can climb

I WILL be keeping a close eye on a number of my former clubs who are in the hunt for promotion over the next couple of month.
One of them is Northampton Town, whose fortunes over the last few years must have tested the most ardent of the Cobblers faithful.
I can honestly say that over my career I enjoyed my time at every club I played for – well, maybe not so much the 19 minutes I lasted on loan at Scarborough as a 19-year-old! I was sent off for going for a header and banned for the remaining three games...
