MIDDLESBROUGH’S Chris Wilder, Sunderland’s Lee Johnson and Tranmere’s Micky Mellon have ensured a northern clean sweep of the Sky Bet EFL Manager of the Month awards.
The changes Wilder has made at the Riverside since arriving in November paid off royally in December with 13 points from five unbeaten games and just a single goal conceded helping launch a promotion push.
