DAN’S SO CHUFFED TO STAY WITH CATS

SUNDERLAND’s homegrown hero Dan Neil says there is nowhere he would rather be after signing a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light.
Neil, 19, had made just two senior appearances before breaking into Lee Johnson’s side this term, but has quickly become a fixture in midfield. The academy product - who has been with Sunderland since the age of eight - scored his first goal in last month’s 2-1 win over Accrington Stanley and has also registered four assists.
