DELIGHTED manager Mark Warburton hailed the finishing prowess of experienced goal-getter Charlie Austin after QPR knocked Everton out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.
Austin scored with two headers in the first half either side of a Lucas Digne strike for the visiting Toffees. Andros Townsend netted early in the second half to draw Rafa Benitez’s men level, but the R’s held their nerve to triumph 8-7 on spot-kicks.
