SAMY Morsy was Ipswich’s 19th and final signing of a frenetic summer – but manager Paul Cook reckons he could be the most significant of the lot.
The 29-year-old joined the Blues for an undisclosed fee from Middlesbrough, penning a three-year deal at Portman Road on deadline day.
Cook knows all about Morsy’s qualities having worked with him before at Chesterfield and Wigan. Indeed, the Egypt international was club captain at both.
