IF JOSH Sheehan wanted to quickly win over the fans at new club Bolton Wanderers, he could hardly have scripted a better start.

The 26-year-old midfielder left League Two Newport to jump up a division and ply his trade under Ian Evatt in the summer, and he hit the ground running in front of the home faithful at the University of Bolton Stadium.
