SLIDING TERRIERS ARE BARKING UP WRONG TREE

IT IS only two years since Huddersfield played in the Premier League. If they are not careful, they will soon be in League One.
Nobody, not even rock-bottom Wycombe, have conceded more goals over the course of the season. Only three sides have registered fewer victories.
Had the campaign kicked off on January 1, the Terriers would currently be bottom of the league with three wins from 23 matches. That they avoided relegation trouble owes more to the inadequacy of their rivals than any show of defiance.
Avoiding a similar situation next season will depend heavily on recruitmen...
