LEWIS Alessandra is in no mood to surrender the chance of a first-ever career promotion – even if Carlisle United are now outside contenders for the leap up to League One.
As recently as mid-February the Cumbrians would have only needed seven points from the five games they had in hand on leaders Cambridge to climb to the top of the division.
