MAKING that little bit of extra effort paid off for Sammy Ameobi – and now it’s won him the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for January.
Winger Ameobi exchanged passes with Alex Mighten before curling home from the edge of the box. It was his second goal of the game and helped Nottingham Forest to a precious 3-1 victory against Millwall.
