NYLAND’S A CHIRPY CANARY…

ORJAN Nyland admits it was an easy decision to join Norwich even though he was not short of offers after leaving Aston Villa.
The 30-year-old moved to Villa Park from Ingolstadt in 2018 and made 38 appearances in all competitions before leaving by mutual consent in October.
Norway international Nyland has now joined the Canaries as a free agent, signing a shortterm deal until the end of the season.
“I’ve had a lot of offers, but when Norwich came along I wasn’t doubtful at all,” he said.
“It felt like the right thing to do.”
