WHITE SO GLAD TO PEN DEAL

LEAGUE TWO
SOUTHEND skipper John White is delighted he can now focus on giving his all to the club after signing a new deal.
White is the longestserving player at Roots Hall and recently made his 250th appearance for the Shrimpers.
And the 34-year-old, whose new deal expires at the end of the season, said: “It’s so nice to get it out of the way because now I can fully concentrate on everything that needs to be done here.
“We’ve got a big battle on our hands and I think it needs everyone to be fully focused and committed to do what we need to do.”
