JAYSON’S ARRIVAL A COUP FOR US, SAYS AL

MIDFIELDER Jayson Molumby is “a great acquisition” for Preston, according to manager Alex Neil.
The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international has joined the Lilywhites from Brighton on loan until the end of the season.
Molumby played 40 games for Championship rivals Millwall last season, and Neil reckons the signing is “a signal of intent” from Preston. He said: “It has been a very good bit of business from us and with good players, you can’t afford to wait.
