KAL Naismith felt it was “the right time” to leave Wigan after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 28-year-old midfielder had five months left on his deal, but a request to canc e l the remainder to allow him to pursue a new opportunity was “reluctantly accepted” by the club’s administrators.
