EXPECT JOEY TO BOUNCE BACK BEFORE TOO LONG

I’VE met Joey Barton a few times and it reminds me of when Roy Keane joined Celtic from Manchester United.
Roy came with this fearsome reputation but, day to day, he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in football.
I’m not the only person to see a different side to Joey but, unfortunately, reputations are hard to shake off.
He had the bustup with the Barnsley manager the season before last. Now he’s come to blows with Ched Evans, an incident that ultimately cost him his job as manager of Fleetwood.
