SHEEHAN BOOST FOR COBBLERS

LEAGUE ONE
ALAN Sheehan has had a big impact at Northampton since arriving at the club in October, according to boss Keith Curle.
The 34-year-old has extended his contract until at least the end of this term, and Curle said: “His experience, his knowledge and his leadership have all added to the squad, and we have invited him to join the coaching staff.
“But, he also has a key role as a player. We have missed him on the field in the last few games, but are delighted he will remain with us for the rest of the season.”
