THERE are positives and negatives to the potential ban on signing under-18 players from abroad post-Brexit.
Historically, players signed as teenagers have had a massive positive influence on the English game. You look at Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin at Arsenal.
Under the incoming rules, those lads would never have got an opportunity and English football would be the poorer for it.
