ALFIE’S FIRED UP TO PUSH ON WITH THE IRON

ALFIE Beestin is hoping to build on a promising start to the season after putting pen to paper on a new contract at Scunthorpe United.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder initially joined the Iron on a shortterm deal in January and appeared in four matches last season before the coronavirus pandemic brought the campaign to an early end.
He was handed a contract extension in the summer and has now signed for a further year, keeping him at Glanford Park until June 2022.
