PEARSON HAPPY TO HAVE CROWD NOISE

PRESTON midfielder Ben Pearson has welcomed the introduction of artificial crowd noise at Deepdale.
With fans kept away from stadiums for months due to coronavirus restrictions, Preston made the decision to play artificial background noise during the game for the first time in their home match against Sheffield Wednesday.
It had an immediate impact as the Lilywhites earned their first home win of the season, though they did lose against Blackburn in midweek.
