Rookie keeper seizes the chance

BARELY a month ago, Andy Fisher was – in his own words – little more than a training keeper at Blackburn Rovers.
“I was part of the first team,” says the 22-year-old. “But there was no pressure on me to win games or fight for a result. I was making up the numbers, really.”
Now, having ousted the experienced Lee Nicholls from the No.1 spot at MK Dons following a deadline day transfer, Fisher is the first name on Russell Martin’s team sheet.
